What Ingredients Do I Need to Make Sausage Gravy Breakfast Pizza?

- 2 cans of crescent rolls
- 1 pound of sausage
- shredded cheddar cheese
- 6-8 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 pack of country gravy mix
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
My Favorite items to use for this breakfast pizza are:
- McCormick Sausage Flavor Country Gravy packet-I normally make sausage gravy from scratch. However, for this recipe it is important to have the right amount and consistency of gravy for your pizza. This McCormick mix makes the perfect amount for this pizza and the flavors in the mix taste amazing! Plus, for busy mornings, this saves you so much time by already being prepared for you!
- Fresh, local sausage-We get our sausage ground up by local meat departments or butchers, so we know what is going into the sausage (meat and seasonings, not a bunch of added preservatives and unnecessary ingredients). Trust me, it tastes way different than what you can buy at a grocery store.
What are the Steps to Making Sausage Gravy Breakfast Pizza?
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Spray your pizza pan with non-stick cooking spray. Place the crescent roll triangles onto the pizza pan. Press down with your hands to join the seams and make sure the entire pizza pan is covered.

- Bake crescent roll pizza crust for 9-11 minutes or until crescent rolls start turning golden brown.
- Meanwhile, mix together the eggs, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Spray your skillet with non-stick cooking spray or butter and add the egg mixture to it. Cook on medium, stirring often until eggs are set to make scrambled eggs. Once done, sit these off to the side while you prepare the sausage gravy.

- Add the sausage to a skillet and cook until no longer pink and sausage is cooked thoroughly. Add the country gravy packet directly to the sausage and mix well.

- Pour the milk over the sausage and stir until mixed well. Cook on medium until the milk starts to thicken and has reached the desired gravy consistency.
- Pour the gravy onto the crescent roll pizza crust. Spread out to make an even layer. Add the scrambled eggs to the top of the gravy.

- Add 1 to 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, depending on how cheesy you want it to be.

- Bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted through.
- Cut into slices and enjoy!
